Purpose of Philly Black Art Research Bibliography
The purpose of this bibliography is to collaboratively share resources and projects related to documenting Philadelphia-area Black art, artists, histories, and representations at local institutions and beyond. The research I have been conducting on Black artists in the Philadelphia Museum of Art collection through the Library and Archives “Four Elements” Blog, those included in the Charles L. Blockson Afro-American Collection at Temple University Libraries, and those who have worked with Mural Arts Philadelphia are included in this list.
